This is „Montipora“, a limited collection of candle objects made to fill the room with organic shapes. Inspired by corals, this series efforts to adapt the traditional candle dipping technique: The base is a steel wire framework that is dipped into liquid wax up to 25 times creating a handmade and unique object - layer by layer. Designed to remind of transience, the candle refers to coral die while burning down. But other than in nature, in the end it reveals a steel thorn which can be used to stick on a new candle.
