These custom bench designs reflect the the philosophy of Nike ACG (All Conditions Gear), which is rooted in the relationship between performance and the natural environment. By combining the engineered clarity of stainless steel with the tactile softness and rock-like appearance of the paddings, the benches reference the alpine landscape surrounding Chamonix and explore the contrast between hard and soft, industrial and organic, functional and sculptural.

At first glance, the surface appears hard and stone-like. In reality, it is made from soft foam shaped by tearing it by hand. This process allows intention and chance to interact, creating a unique texture that recalls natural rock formations.

To maintain the material’s softness while ensuring durability, the foam is coated with a highly flexible, UV-resistant and waterproof finish suitable for intensive use and outdoor conditions.
