The rooftop lounge and seating area was designed as a bespoke intervention for a private residential project in Lisbon, transforming the roof into an open-air living space.

The seating is based on a solid concrete base that anchors the elements firmly within the architecture. Its mass provides stability and clarity, echoing the raw materiality of the building and the surrounding urban context.

Resting on top is a sky blue padding inspired by the Lapis Collection. Although it appears stone-like and rigid at first glance, it is made from soft foam shaped by tearing a single block by hand. This process introduces irregularities and texture, giving each element a unique, almost geological surface quality.

A flexible, UV-resistant and waterproof coating protects the foam, allowing it to withstand outdoor conditions while preserving its tactile softness.
