Radius Daybed

The Radius Daybed brings together two distinct design approaches: the precise aluminium structure of the Radius collection and the sculptural, stone-like upholstery of the Lapis collection.

The base is made from curved aluminium panels that form a light and refined structure. Its rhythmic composition creates a sense of movement while providing a stable foundation.

Resting on top is an element from the Lapis collection. Although it appears rough and solid, it is made from soft foam shaped by tearing a single block by hand. This process balances intention and chance, giving each piece a unique texture reminiscent of natural stone.

To preserve the softness while ensuring durability, the foam is coated with a highly flexible, UV-resistant and waterproof finish, making the daybed suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

By combining the clean, engineered lines of the Radius collection with the tactile and unexpected softness of the Lapis collection, the Lapis x Radius Daybed explores the contrast between precision and spontaneity, lightness and mass, and hardness and softness. The result is a sculptural piece that invites rest while challenging perceptions of material and form.
